March Group unearth real talent within a global oil and gas company
As part of a global approach to HR best practice. March Group delivered a resourcing coaching programme for senior managers. This led them to being asked to design and deliver a range of developmental workshops that also accredited a participants competency to lead resourcing interviews.
Peter and Sarah have found delivering the workshops around the world exciting and demanding. The cultural differences have brought a fascinating dimension to the programme. The trainer-training workshop have been particularly enjoyable and we have learnt.
On the beat with the Police
Working with both civilians and officers to provide one to one coaching was both interesting and challenging. Sarah became involved when one of the Police Force decided that it wished to provide personal development for all its employees in the form of training credits. The coaching covered a range of issues such as improved presentation skills, confidence building, personal effectiveness and team management. Sarah said she had to win the trust of the officers as apart of the contracting stage before they were willing to.

A European Bank understands the value of money but also has invested time and resources in improving team working and creating team and individual performance measures. “It was great to see the bankers using all their ingenuity, energy and competitiveness in constructing their egg capsules” says Peter who led the consultancy team. “I particularly liked their predicted achievement setting as it introduced so many significant cultural issues”.
